DINNER AT LAMAN GRILL

Assalamualaikum




Last week my classmate and I had going to Selangor for a trip of 3 days and 2 nights. We began our journey on Friday at 10.00 a.m accompany with two beloved lecturers which are Mr. Khairul Hidayat Bin Hj Rezo and Miss Anida Binti Ismail. The highlight of our trip is having dinner at Laman Grill. We arrived at Laman Grill at 7.30 p.m. We are greeted with the friendly supervisor and waiters. We had been seated at the table for 9 persons behind the enter door. We can choose whether to have dinner inside or outside of the restaurant. If you like the open air environment, I suggest the you dinner outside of the restaurant. Every weekend, there are going to had night market and live band around there. When we are 15 minutes there, the owner of the restaurant which is Chef Zubir Zain are appeared. He is the one of the Judges of Malaysian Masterchef. Let me introduce a little bit about his background. Chef Zubir started his education in Chef Training Diploma at Mara Institute of Technology in 1988. He used the opportunity when he became the lecturer at the same institute and now known as Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. In addition, Chef Zubir has gained experience under the supervision of Chef Anton Mossiman at Anton Mossiman Exclusive Dining Club Belgrave Square, London. He has worked as Executive Sous Chef at Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur as well as working on other of the top hotels in our country. Chef Zubir also involved in the international arena in cooking in Japan, Austria, America and Singapore.

We felt very proud because our dinner at that night are prepared by his own with the helps of his young chef. Chef Danial, one of the participant of the Malaysian Masterchef are worked with Chef Zubir. We can see the team cooked because of the open kitchen and it was a  bis glass window wall facing the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant are welled planned, very cozy decor with news articles of Chef Zubir, the medals that he won and his certificate that he achieve, and its all for the customer to see. The restaurant also have nice surrounding, the ambiance is very warming and nice lighting. 

Lets talk about foods....


Australian Baby Lamb Foreshank MYR 34.50

This dishes is slow cooked in it`s oven just served with tossed crispy smoked beef  US Idaho potato-pear salads and sauteed vegetables. The taste is not bad, and i`m suggest who are like to eat lamb very much, you should try this.

The Laman New Version Marbled Chicken Chop MYR 25.50

This dishes is the one of the signature dish of Laman Grill Restaurant. It is ovenbaked layered chicken  terrine, crispy cornflakes coated chicken drumstick chops, smoked chicken potato quiche, wilted vegetables and wild mushroom sauce. The taste is very good and the I like it so much.

Wedges Salmon

Before this, I cannot eat salmon at all, but that night I can eat the salmon very well. The salmon is good and the sauce is not bad.

Chocolate Caramel Banana MYR 12.50 

The Moist chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and spiced caramel banana. The portion is really good.


Raspberry Vanilla Cream Cake MYR 12.50

The vanilla mousse with light almond lemon sponge and raspberry preserved. It also the delicious dessert that you must try.




Tiramisu MYR 12.50

The mascarpone mousse layered with coffee soaked sponge. This tiramisu is very delicious and you guys should order this when u`r going there.




Warm Lava Chocolate Cake With Vanilla Ice Cream MYR 12.50


This is become my favourite dessert ever. When i ate the chocolate cake, i felt  the hot chocolate inside very warmer plus cold vanilla ice cream. I`m fall in love with this dessert and i wanted to try it again soon.


We finished our dinner around 9.30 p.m. Before we going back, we took some pictures with Chef Zubir as a   memory and a sign that we had been there. My friends, Aisyah gave the present to Chef Zubir as the appreciation.


I give 5 stars to Laman Grill Steak & Bar-b-que Restaurant.

I Love Triple CheeseBurger

Hye, as we know that McDonalds is the most popular and successful restaurant with the sells of burger.. There are many type of burger such as Big Mac, McChicken, Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and last but lot least Double CheeseBurger. I love Double CheeseBurger so much, everytime i`m going to McDonalds, the only menu that i`ve been order is Double CheeseBurger. Now, McDonalds have come out with the new menu, not really new but maybe season menu. The menu`s named is McDonalds Double. it`s means that all the burger are being upgraded to the new one. For example, my favourite burger, Double CheeseBurger was upgraded into Triple CheeseBurger. This means that they are added one layer of the beef to the burger. Triple CheeseBurger are bite into 3 juicy beef layered with 3 slices of cheese. We can choose either want to buy a la carte or set. The price is reasonable and affordable to buy which is RM10.45 for McValue Lunch if i`m not mistaken.The set is comes with a french fries & a cup of Coke.There are 1084 calories in 1 Triple Cheeseburger with Mayonnaise or Salad Dressing and Tomatoes on Bun. Calorie breakdown for Triple CheeseBurger are 61% fat, 14% carbohydrates, and 25% protein. We can get this burger from 11am until 4am everyday while stocks last at any McDonalds restaurant in Malaysia. Before i`m finish my words, let me tell about the history about about CheeseBurger. A cheeseburger is a hamburger with cheese that has been added to it. Traditionally, the cheese is placed on top of the patty, but the burger can include many variations in structure, ingredients, and composition. The term itself is a portmanteau of the words "cheese" and "hamburger." The ingredients to made this burger is 100% Beef Patty, Regular Bun, Pasteurized Process American Cheese, Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle Slices, and Onions. The cheese is usually sliced, and then added to the cooking hamburger patty shortly before the patty is completely cooked which allows the cheese to melt.
